Fans of the Star Wars series 'Andor' can look forward to the release of its second and final season this spring. Ahead of the premiere, Season 1 of Andor has been made available on Hulu and YouTube, giving fans a chance to catch up. On Hulu, the first season will remain available until April 22.
According to a report by ANI, Season 2 of Andor is set to premiere on April 22, 2025, exclusively on Disney+. The new season will consist of 12 episodes, which will be grouped into four chapters, with new chapters released weekly. Additionally, episodes 1 to 3 of Season 1 are streaming for free on the Disney+ YouTube channel.
The report highlights that this is not the first time Andor has been released on multiple platforms. Back in 2022, during Thanksgiving, two episodes of the first season aired on ABC, FX, Freeform, and Hulu, coinciding with the season finale’s release on Disney+.
As for the storyline in Season 2, the series will continue to follow Cassian Andor, portrayed by Diego Luna, as the galaxy inches closer to open war. Cassian’s journey will show his critical role in the formation of the Rebel Alliance, a story that leads into the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The final season promises to tie up Cassian’s story as he fully embraces his destiny as a key figure in the fight against the Empire.
Fans can also join a live rewatch event of Andor Season 1, hosted by series creator Tony Gilroy, on March 13 at 12:00 PM PT on YouTube. A 14-minute recap video of Season 1 has already been uploaded on the platform for those who need a quick refresher.

Other notable names joining the ensemble are Alan Tudyk, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, Ben Mendelsohn, and Forest Whitaker. Tony Gilroy serves as the creator and executive producer, alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna, Luke Hull, and John Gilroy.
In terms of writing and directing, Tony Gilroy wrote the first three episodes of the new season.
