The fantasy series, based on the best-selling novels by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson, has been a favorite since it first debuted in November 2021. The show has received praise for its engaging storytelling and the detailed fantasy world it has brought to life.
After a successful second season in 2022, Amazon renewed the series early for its third installment. Now, with Season 3 underway, viewers are eager to follow the next chapter in Rand al’Thor’s journey. Season 3 picks up after Rand is revealed to be the Dragon Reborn—a figure who is prophesied to either save the world or destroy it. Daniel Henney returns as her Warder, al'Lan Mandragoran. Josha Stradowski continues his role as Rand al’Thor.
Season 3 also introduces new characters. Shohreh Aghdashloo joins the cast as Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan, another strong Aes Sedai with a complicated history with Moiraine. Other new faces include Isabella Bucceri as Faile Bashere, Nukâka Coster-Waldau as Bair, Salóme Gunnarsdóttir as Melaine, Björn Landberg as Rhuarc, Synnøve Macody Lund as Melindhra, and Ayoola Smart as Aviendha.
