'The Tribe': When and where to watch Alanna Panday and Karan Johar’s reality series

'The Tribe,' a new reality series featuring five Indian content creators, will premiere on Prime Video starting October 4. The nine-episode show offers a glimpse into their lives as they move to Los Angeles to further their social media careers. Karan Johar is the executive producer of this project.

The reality series ‘The Tribe’ starring five content creators Alanna Panday, Alaviaa Jaaferi, Srushti Porey, Aryaana Gandhi and Alfia Jafry is heading to release. The streaming platform Prime video announced that ‘The Tribe’ will premiere from October 4. The nine-episode series will give a sneak peek into the behind the scenes of Indian content creators.

The press release confirmed that the show will give a glimpse into the “glamorous lives of five affluent Indian content creators who leave behind their families and step out of their comfort zones to relocate to Los Angeles to build their social media careers.” The show is bankrolled by Karan Johar.
Karan Johar, who is also the executive producer on ‘The Tribe’ in a statement said, "The series promises to take viewers on an exhilarating journey, capturing a group of young, new-age content creators as they navigate their ambitions, aspirations, and unfiltered personalities while striving to make their mark in the major leagues.”
The streamer said, "This reality drama showcases a new generation of global young Indians who embody fearlessness and confidence as they create content with the aim of becoming bona fide social media stars.”
Meanwhile, Karan Johar has also signed to helm an upcoming series with Netflix. The script is finalized and KJo's team will start production in early 2025. The series is expected to stream in 2026.

On the other hand, Karan Johar's recent outing was 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
