Times when Ranveer Allahbadia's comments sparked outrage before the 'India's Got Latent' controversy
Ranveer Allahbadia, aka Beerbiceps, has been facing a lot of backlash for his derogatory comments on a renowned talent show ‘India’s Got Latent’ by a comedian, Samay Raina. While he has been an acclaimed influencer for years, questions regarding his ‘inappropriate’ actions have been flooding on various social media platforms.
‘Would You Rather?’ cost him a legal complaint, alleging he should be canceled for his use of abusive and vulgar language on a professional platform. Many users demanded strict action against the podcaster, while others defended him by stating that the concept of the show was meant to be a little edgy and that everything was a jest.

The kurti comment
In July 2021, he was widely criticized for posting a sexist comment suggesting that any woman wearing a kurta would make men be on their knees, “Any girl becomes a 100x more attractive in a long kurti paired with those big earrings. Life hack that brings all guys to their knees.” Many users suggested that he should go back to the ancient era to which he belonged.
It's all about politics
In April 2021, Ranveer posted, “If your entire opinion about someone is decided according to their political opinion, the problem is with your political opinion," before declaring himself as ‘apolitical’. This ironic decision was questioned with a raised brow by his fans.
The million-dollar question
In July 2023, during an interview with an advocate J Sai Deepak, he blatantly asked which individuals should leave India, and the advocate answered with the mention of journalists and historians, facing backlash for his questions and his wit. However, he did not take down the podcast.
The unverified claim
