‘The Matchmakers’: Here’s all you need to know about the Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun starrer

‘The Matchmakers’ is a romantic comedy that revolves around two widowers, Shim Jung Woo and Jung Soon Deok. They both take on the task of finding suitable matches for unmarried individuals during the Joseon era. These people were deemed undesirable for marriage due to their age.
The characters
Shim Jung Woo, an intelligent man chosen to be the princess' husband and a government official, faces an unexpected turn of events when the princess passes away during their wedding.According to the rules of the Joseon era, he could not marry or hold a government position.
Jung Soon Deok is the city's most skilled matchmaker. Besides finding the perfect matches, Jung also sells cosmetics and accessories to women.

Cast and crew
Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun headline the rom-com as Shim Jung Woo and Jung Soon Deok respectively. Further, ‘Sell Your Haunted House’ fame writer Ha Soo Jin worked on its script, Hwang Seung Ki and Kim Soo Jin, don the directors’ hats for the project.

‘The Matchmakers’ will be available on KBS at 9:45 pm KST (6:15 pm IST) on KBS 2. Further, for the international viewers it will air on Viki. It will be aired every Monday and Tuesday.
