Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Rekha's 'Silsila', Sridevi's Chandni to re-release in theatres on Valentine's week - details inside

Yash Chopra's 1981 film 'Silsila', featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and Rekha, is re-releasing from February 7 to 10 in select PVR Inox theatres. Other romantic movies like 'Chandni', 'Kabhi Kabhie', 'Aaradhana', and 'Aawara' are also set for re-release this month.

Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Rekha starrer 'Silsila', directed by Yash Chopra is set to re-release in theatres. The film had released in 1981 and was not a big hit at the box office at that point in time. However, many years today, it is considered a cult classic as it's memorable for a number of reasons. It was the last time that Rekha and Big B shared screen space together. The songs of the film - right from 'Dekha Ek Khwab' to 'Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum', continue to remain classics over the years.
The film is re-releasing in some theatres of PVR Inox from February 7 to February 10. Yash Chopra is considered the King of Romantic movies and thus, this Valentine's week might just be a great time to re-release some of his classics.
Meanwhile, Sridevi, Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna starrer 'Chandni' is also set to re-release again. There is also a list of few other movies that are re-releasing this month. There is Chopra's 'Kabhi Kabhie' also which is set for re-release. The film starrerd Big B along side Rakhee, Shashi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor.
Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore's romantic classic 'Aaradhana' is also set to release again. Raj Kapoor's 'Aawara' co-starring Nargis is also set to hit the screens again this month.
