A video of a touching moment between the Bollywood superstar and a devoted fan has taken the internet by storm. It features a young girl, moved to tears (of joy) after a chance encounter with the actor on the streets of Germany. While the girl shared the emotional meeting off camera, at the actor's request, she didn't hold back when she took to social media to talk all about it in a video that has since gone viral.
According to the female fan, the incident took place outside a hotel in Germany, where the actor was reportedly staying during a private visit. The girl, identified as Asma, said while trying to hold back her happy tears, that she spotted SRK's bodyguard first before spotting him. “This is him, this is him,” she recalled telling her friends in excitement.


Despite being advised by security not to take pictures, Asma pleaded with the actor and on his insistence, requested for a hug instead. In a gesture that’s since melted hearts worldwide, Shah Rukh responded by embracing the young girl and her friends and on noticing that she was crying, placed a hand on her head and said, “God bless you.
Social media posts from various fan clubs suggested that the actor's quiet outing quickly turned into a spontaneous meet-and-greet after news of his presence in the city spread. Admirers and fans gathered near the hotel, hoping to catch a glimpse of him and he obliged them by interact with several, signing autographs and even posing for photos, despite his earlier requests to avoid taking pictures.
SRK returned home this week. However, if the latest buzz is anything to go by, then fans can expect to see him work the red carpet when he makes his debut at the Met Gala set to take place on Monday.
