Monalisa, a 16-year-old girl who used to sell garlands, gained widespread attention at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. Her captivating beauty made her an overnight sensation on social media. Her videos and photos went viral, with many praising her impressive features. However, the overwhelming attention led to harassment, prompting her father to send her back home for her safety.
Reportedly, she has been offered a role in a film and is considering a career in acting if her family agrees. In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, director Sanoj Mishra, who has offered to give Monalisa a break in films, revealed that the girl admires Kangana Ranaut and Sonakshi Sinha and wishes to meet Salman Khan and Sunny Deol. He also mentioned that Monalisa is not fond of the current generation of actors like Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff and has no desire to meet them, adding that she still admires stars from the 90s.
Recently, producer Wasim Rizvi made serious allegations against director Sanoj Mishra, claiming that Mishra has a drinking habit and seeks out girls after consuming alcohol. Rizvi further alleged that Mishra is exploiting Monalisa’s innocence and that if her family knew the truth about him, they would never have entrusted their daughter to him.
However, Monalisa and her family recently addressed the issue, dismissing all allegations against Mishra. In a video statement, they expressed their support for the filmmaker. Monalisa spoke about how Mishra helped her by providing accommodation and securing work in films. "He is very nice and treats me like a daughter," she said. Her uncle and several family members also appeared in the video, refuting the claims and calling them baseless.

Director Sanoj Mishra also shared the video, stating, "The truth can be hidden for a while, but it cannot be erased. Putting an end to the drama of the last two days, Wasim Rizvi—who has falsely embraced Sanatan Dharma to conceal his own wrongdoings—has been exposed. Monalisa has now revealed everything about where she was and with whom."
