BTS agency urges fans to avoid visiting sites for J-Hope's military discharge

J-Hope's South Korean military service is nearing completion, with his discharge set for October 17. Fans are eagerly anticipating his return, but BigHit has requested that they refrain from visiting the site to avoid overcrowding. J-Hope will be the next BTS member to return after Jin.

J-Hope's South Korean military service is coming to an end and fans are eagerly looking forward to his return. In an official announcement, the agency outlined plans for his discharge day, and with the same, they issued a warning to fans to stay off the site to avoid overcrowding.
“Discharge day is a day shared by service members. No special events are planned on the day of J-Hope’s discharge. To prevent any issues arising from overcrowding, fans are strongly advised to refrain from visiting the site. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts,” BigHit wrote in its statement. The agency also thanked fans for the love.
K-towns are going high on this wave of excitement with J-Hope days away from officially completing his service and ARMYs have already begun counting down his return. He has completed 99% of his military duties, and his discharge date has been set for October 17.
In April 2023, Jung Ho Seok, popularly known as J-Hope was enlisted. After the completion of basic training, he joined his job as an assistant training instructor with the 36th Infantry Division in Wonju. But amind the military service J-Hope's creative spirit stayed intact. Just this year, BigHit Music released 'HOPE ON THE STREET', a six-part docuseries that brings his artistic background and dancing skills into the limelight.
J-Hope will be the next BTS member to be discharged after Jin. In September, J-Hope updated fans on Weverse as he started his countdown of 30 days, saying: “One month, exactly 30 days left to go! All that time flew by, but I’m already reminiscing about it, I guess I grew pretty fond of everything here. I’ve been packing, giving away some of the gear I came to cherish, and my locker’s starting to look a bit empty.”
Other members of BTS, RM, Suga, Jimin, Jungkook, and V, are all set to serve next year.
