Naveen Shankar is on a roll. He has just signed up for a family drama called Moolataha Nammavare, that is being directed by debutante Chetan Bhaskaraiah. He also has a series of films in the pipeline that will see him explore his acting skills through the variety of characters he gets to play.
“Moolataha Nammavare is an urban-centric theme. The film has a positive message about family values that play a key role in shaping a person’s character.
In Nodidavaru Enanthare, which is a journey-based film, I play a vagabond who is on a journey of selfdiscovery through constant travel,” explains Naveen. The actor also plays the antagonist in the film Hoysala. “I have gone through physical transformation to play a baddie who has an animalistic trait about him,” he says.
Looking forward to a great run in 2023 with so many films getting ready to release, he adds, “It’s great phase to be in. After my debut film Gultoo, I had a long gap. I shot for as many films as I could this year, as I was keen on making up for all the lost time. ”
