T. V. Renjith’s directorial ‘Oru Sarkar Ulpannam’ starring Subish Sudhi, Shelly,
Gouri G Kishan, Aju Vargheese, Vineeth Vasudev and Jaffer Idukki has hit the theatres today, March 8. The film is releasing after a major roadblock apropos the title, and losing its scriptwriter, Nizam Rawther, two days prior to the release.
On Thursday night (Mar 7), hours before the release, actress Gouri G Kishan penned a heartfelt note, mourning the demise of the scriptwriter.
Sharing the theatre list, she said, “#OruSarkarUlpannam Kerala theatre list. Wish Nizam ikka was here to watch it with us. Usually, film releases are supposed to be a happy & exciting time, but we’re all mourning this irreplaceable loss. Having said that, Nizam ikka would have wanted the film to be out, no matter what. He wouldn’t have it any other way. God bless us!”
Scriptwriter Nizam Rawther passed away on Wednesday, March 6 following a cardiac arrest. He was 49. He died at his residence at Kadammanitta in Pathanamthitta. Nizam has also scripted for films 'Zachariyayude Garbhinikal', 'Bombay Mitayi 'and 'Radio'.

Gouri G Kishan who shared a great rapport with the screenwriter, had penned a heartfelt tribute upon learning about his untimely demise. In a Facebook post, she said, “Nizam ikka, this loss is unbearable. You were the first voice who told me that I'll be the perfect person to play Divya, the Asha worker. You're the creator of this film, you're the reason it exits today and now 2 days before the release, you're no more. We don't know what to feel anymore.”
