Kunchacko Boban - Arvind Swamy starrer ‘Ottu’ to hit the screens soon

Mollywood actor Kunchacko Boban is all set to make his Tamil debut with the film ‘Ottu’. Recently the makers announced the shooting wrap-up of the bilingual movie which also has the Tamil superstar Arvind Swamy in lead role. The film gearing up for its release soon.

Kunchacko Boban took to his official Instagram handle to announce the wrap-up of the filming of ‘Ottu’. Sharing a picture with the entire team, the actor penned a note that read, “Wrapping up the shoot of one of my most exciting movies.” The title also has a tagline which is written, ‘Chapter Two’ which hints that the makers are planning the movie as a two-part film.

Helmed by the director Fellini TP, ‘Ottu’ is touted as a drama thriller with some road movie elements in it, and the Tamil version of the film is titled ‘Rendagam’.Tamil actor Arya will be also playing a pivotal role in the movie. Actress Eesha Rebba will be playing the female lead character in ‘Ottu’.

Penned down by the writers S Sanjeev and Sasikumaran, ‘Ottu’ will tell the story of two friends and their bond and is set in the backdrop of Mangalore and Mumbai.

Previously, Kunchacko Boban reportedly said that ‘Ottu’ will be the most expensive film in his career and also the film marks his debut in Tamil, whereas the actor Arvind Swamy will be making his third outing in the Malayalam film industry as he has appeared in the films ‘Devaraagam’, and ‘Daddy’ before.
Apart from Kunchacko Boban and Arvind Swamy, ‘Ottu’ will also feature the actors Jackie Shroff, Aadukalam Naren, and Jinse Baskar in significant roles.
