Lijo Jose's Jellikattu will kick off in September

Lijo Jose Pellissery's next film has been announced.
Titled Jellikattu, the film will kick off by September, the director told us, though he did not reveal whether the film will be about the much controversial bull race in Tamil Nadu. The cast has also not been locked, he said, though rumours say Angamaly Diaries fame Antony Varghese will play the lead character here as well.

The film will be scripted by S Hareesh and R Jayakumar while Girish Gangadharan will handle the camera. Music by Prasanth Pillai is another added attraction of the film. Each of Lijo's films have been experiments, from his debut City of God to his last one, Ee Ma You. From the sound of it, Jellikattu feels like another 'katta local' film. Earlier it was reported that Lijo's next will be titled 'Pothu' and this might be the same film. The first look poster of the film doesn't reveal much.
