Malayalam actor Kottayam Pradeep breathed his last in the wee hours of Thursday (Feb 17). He was 61. As per the reports, the actor breathed his last at 4:15 am, due to a heart attack.
Pradeep KR, popularly known as Kottayam Pradeep, made his debut in showbiz in 2001 through the film 'Ee Nadu Enale Vare'. He was about 40-years-old when he ventured into movies through the I.

Known for his eccentric humour and dialogue delivery, Kottayam Pradeep won the hearts through his performances in movies like ‘Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeevi Aanu’, ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’, ‘Life of Josutty’, ‘Kunjiramayanam’, ‘Welcome to Central Jail’, ‘Amar Akbar Antony’, ‘Adi Kapyare Kootamani’ and ‘Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan’ among others.
Meanwhile, Kottayam Pradeep has appeared for a short role in the upcoming Mohanlal starrer ‘Aarattu’. The film is slated to release this Friday (Feb 18).
