Official poster of Raj B Shetty’s ‘Toby’ out; the Malayalam release to hit the big screens on THIS day!

Raj B Shetty’s Kannada film ‘Toby’, which had a successful run in the cinemas is gearing up for its Malayalam release. The makers have confirmed the release date of its Malayalam version via a social media post.
Raj B Shetty, who is playing the protagonist in the film confirmed that the Malayalam version will be hitting the cinemas on Septermber 22. “Landing on the most amazing avenue for our MALAYALAM release ☺️ #TOBYinMalayalam on 22nd Sept 🤗,” the actor said.
The film is being distributed by Dulquer Salmaan’s production banner in Kerala, and they launched a special poster and said, “Here's the official Malayalam poster of the much-awaited revenge family drama film #Toby directed by Basil Alchalakkal. This will be Raj b Shetty's first Malayalam release after his cult classic Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana. The movie will release in theaters all over Kerala on 22nd September 2023.”

The film revolves around the protagonist Toby, played by Raj B Shetty. Having spent a significant portion of his youth within the confines of remand homes and prisons, Toby is a genuinely innocent individual, largely unaware of the intricacies of right and wrong within society. His innocence becomes a vulnerable target for certain malevolent individuals who exploit it for their nefarious purposes. The arrival of Jenny marks the inception of a new phase in Toby's life. Her unwavering love injects a fresh sense of optimism into his existence. However, when certain elements within society snatch away what Toby holds most dear, transforming him from a lamb-like innocent into someone entirely unrecognizable, he emerges as Mari.

The story is crafted by Dayanand TK, and scripted by Raj B Shetty. Praveen Shriyan is the cinematography director, while the editing department is handled by Nithin Shetty. The action is choreographed by Rajashekaran Arjun Raaj, while the music is done by Midhun Mukundan.
