‘Rudhiram’ starring Raj B Shetty and
Aparna Balamurali went on floors on Tuesday (Feb 14). The team kickstarted the film with a pooja and switch on ceremony, which was held at Sri Gokulam Residency, Thrissur. The shooting is progressing near Chimmini Dam, Thrissur. The tagline of the film reads, “The axe forgets, but the tree remembers.”

‘Rudhiram’ also marks Kannada star Raj B Shetty’s first film in Malayalam. Directed by Jisho Lone Antony, the film will be releasing in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu languages besides Malayalam. Director Jisho Lone Antony and Joseph Kiran George are scripting the film. Mithun Mukundan of ‘Rorschach’ fame is in charge of the music. Sajad Kaakku is handling the camera and Bhavan Sreekumar has roped in as the editor. The art department is handled by Shyam Karthikeyan, and the sound mix is done by Ganesh Marar. The makeup is done by Sudhi Surendran, and the costumes are designed by Dhanya Balakrishnan. Anand Shankar is the VFX Supervisor.
On the other hand, Aparna Balamurali's latest release was 'Kaapa'.
