Manamey OTT release: Find out where to watch Sharwanand starrer comedy-drama

Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty starrer romantic comedy-drama 'Manamey' directed by Sriram Adittya is now streaming online. The movie which was theatrically released on June, 7th 2024 has finally made its digital space debut.
The makers through their social media handle announced that 'Manamey' will be officially streaming on Amazon Prime Video from March 7, 2025, at midnight. With the announcement, they shared the post and wrote, "Double the joy, double the celebration! Celebrate 𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑹𝑴𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑹 @imsharwanand's birthday with the much-awaited family entertainer #Manamey! Streaming from March 7th, 12 AM!"

The film tells the story of Vikram played by Sharwanand, a charismatic playboy living in London. His carefree life takes an unexpected turn when he becomes the caretaker of a two-year-old boy named Kushi, whose parents have passed away in a tragic accident. Vikram's friend, Anurag, and his wife, Sneha, were Kushi's parents, and their sudden demise brings Vikram and Subhadra, played by Krithi Shetty, a friend of Sneha's, together to care for the child.
The film includes Ayesha Khan, Seerat Kapoor, Vennela Kishore, and Rahul Ravindran in key roles. Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the music for the film.
A significant portion of the film was shot in London, with additional scenes filmed in Bangkok and Hyderabad.

The movie received praise for its lighthearted first half and the performances of its lead actors, but it faced criticism for losing momentum in the second half. Although, the film remains a feel-good, family-friendly entertainer.

The film grossed approximately Rs 21.85 crore worldwide, making it a commercial success. In India, 'Manamey' collected around Rs 18.65 crore gross, with a net collection of Rs 16.2 crore. The film saw a steady run in its first week, with a collection of Rs 11.5 crore net.
