Samsung is gearing up to launch three new Galaxy A series smartphones in India next week. The South Korean tech giant has confirmed that the new lineup will include successors to last year's Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55, likely named the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56. The third model is anticipated to be the Galaxy A26.
The new Galaxy A series smartphones are expected to feature a refreshed design, improved durability, and advanced security measures. Samsung has teased that these devices will come with six years of OS updates, an upgrade from the four-year support provided by their predecessors.
The Galaxy A26, A36, and A56 are rumored to sport a pill-shaped camera island on the back and maintain the island on the side frame. They will be powered by different processors: the Galaxy A26 with an Exynos 1280, the A36 with an Exynos 1580, and the A56 with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. Each device is expected to feature triple rear cameras led by a 50MP main sensor.
In terms of battery life, the Galaxy A26 will reportedly feature a 4,565mAh battery with 25W fast charging, while the A36 and A56 could offer faster 45W charging. The previous models, Galaxy A25, A35, and A55, launched at starting prices of Rs 26,999, Rs 30,999, and Rs 39,999, respectively, indicating a similar price range for the new releases.
Samsung's Galaxy A series has been one of its most successful smartphone lines in India, with millions of units sold each year. The upcoming launch is expected to continue this trend, offering Indian consumers more choices with enhanced features and improved performance.
