Amitabh Bachchan remembers his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, shares excerpts from the poet's book 'Madhushala'

Sticking to his daily social media update routine, Amitabh Bachchan has now treated his fans with a new picture of his, wherein he looks extremely stylish and dapper in a classy jet black pantsuit. Within a few hours, the post amassed almost 5 lakh likes and 3 thousand comments. The star accompanied his debonair picture with lines from his late father and poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan's renowned book 'Madhushala'. The lines express how an alcoholic person advances toward a taphouse and gets confound between his ways. The excerpt reads, 'Madiralay jaane ko ghar se chalta hai peene wala; kis path se jau, asamanjas me hai wo bhola bhala; alag alag path batlaate sab' par mai ye batlaata hu, raah pakad tu ek chla chal paa jayega madhushala.' Loosely translated in English, it reads, 'The drunken man walks from home to go to the tavern; which path should I go, the innocent is in confusion; All are telling different paths, But I tell you this, hold one path, and keep walking, you will soon find the tavern.' Harivansh Rai Bachchan' passed away in 2003. From time to time, Big B, who still misses his father dearly, shares quotes or lines from his father's poems, along with his pictures. Recently, too, Big B took a trip down memory lane as he reshared a throwback picture which was first posted by a fan. The picture was from the time he survived 'Coolie' accident and the actor revealed in his tweet how his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, a noted Hindi poet reacted on his return from the hospital. Big B's tweet reads, 'T 3777 - The caption informs of 45 million on Twitter .. thank you Jasmine, but the picture says a lot more .. Its the moment I came home surviving death after the 'Coolie' accident .. Its the first time ever I saw my Father breaking down ! A concerned little Abhishek looks on !' In the heartwarming throwback picture, while Amitabh Bachchan can be seen bending down to touch his father's feet, who has tears in his eyes, young Abhishek Bachchan stands next to his grandfather and has an emotional look on his face. Coming to his current projects now, Big B is at the moment busy shooting for his upcoming film 'Mayday' in Mumbai
