Punjab Police have arrested two members of a terror module, Jagga Singh and Manjinder Singh, linked to Germany-based Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, an associate of the Brar-Bishnoi gang. Authorities seized a 2.8 kg IED containing 1.6 kg of RDX and a remote control, averting a planned terror attack. DGP Gaurav Yadav stated the operation thwarted ISI's attempts to disrupt regional peace.

NEW DELHI: Punjab Police arrested two operatives of a terror module and recovered an improvised explosive device containing RDX in Chandigarh on Sunday.
The accused, Jagga Singh and Manjinder Singh, were key operatives of a terror module operated by Germany-based Gurpreet Singh, also known as Goldy Dhillon, who is closely associated with the Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The arrests were made by Counter Intelligence, Ferozepur, as announced by Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav.
"In a major breakthrough, Counter Intelligence, #Ferozepur arrests Jagga Singh and Manjinder Singh, key operatives of a terror module operated by #Germany-based Gurpreet Singh @ Goldy Dhillon, a close operative of Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang and foils plans of #Pakistan's ISI to disturb peace and harmony in the region," Yadav posted on X.
Police recovered a 2.8 kg IED containing 1.6 kg RDX and a remote control from the accused.
Initial investigation revealed the IED was intended for a targeted terror attack.
The National Investigation Agency has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for information leading to Dhillon's arrest.
Authorities have registered a case under the Explosive Substances Act against the accused.
