Piano prodigy from Chennai,
Lydian Nadhaswaram, has been a busy teenager since he won the American reality talent competition, The World’s Best, early this year. However, he still finds time to inspire others, especially those of his age. He was recently seen attending an interactive session with students from a school in Erode. He was there to inaugurate an art and photography academy and a news station.
The person behind the two initiatives is Chennai-based artist AP Shreethar. “This is done at The Indian Public School in Erode. At the news station, students will get to learn about important personalities each day during the lunch break.Lydian launched the news station and the first presentation was about him. After that Lydian performed for the students and even interacted with them for close to two hours. He spoke about how he practices piano, how he felt when he won The World’s Best title and more. Children also asked him about the meaning behind his name Lydian and he explained to them that it has got a music connection to it. He spoke about Rahman sir as well. Nearly 600 students took part in the interactive session.”
