Shillong: The heritage Laban Bengalee Boys' Higher Secondary School, Shillong, continued its academic excellence with its student Saptarshi Bhattacharjee becoming the topper in the science stream as the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) on Monday announced the results of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examinations 2025.
Drishana Roychoudhury of St Anthony's Higher Secondary School, Shillong, secured the second position in the Science stream, while the third position went to another St Anthony's student, Shweta Sarma.
Iairi Dapynsuk Swett of St Anthony's took the fourth position, followed by a tie for the fifth place between Debojit Malakar of Laban Bengalee Boys' HS School and Reesa Ee Christine Suting of North Liberty Higher Secondary School, Mookyndrop-Jowai.
The sixth rank was shared by Gary K Gangte of St Anthony's and Saptaparna Kar of St Mary's Higher Secondary School, while Jeson Sumer of St Anthony's secured the seventh position.
The eighth place was shared between Gaurav Das of Laban Bengalee Boys' and Sanida Emi Pakma of St Mary's. The ninth position was jointly secured by Soma Biswas of St Anthony's and Rilanaika Sari of North Liberty.
Samridhya Das of Don Bosco College, Tura, was the tenth rank holder.
In the Commerce stream, Disha Chokani of St Anthony's School, Shillong, was the topper, followed by Nishan Talukdar of the Laban Bengalee Boys' HS School in the second position and Dipankar Barua of the same school securing the third slot. The fourth position in commerce was secured by Ankita Modak of St Edmund's HS School, followed by Manav Modak of the Laban Bengalee Boys' in the fifth position.
Idawanplishisha Swer and Albert Mate, both from St Edmund's Higher Secondary School topped in the HSSLC examination for the arts stream securing 455 marks each.
