BAGALKOT: Instead of scolding their child for his poor performance in SSLC examinations, the parents of a student organised a cake party to encourage him to do better next time. The video of the celebrations has gone viral and netizens are all praise for this parents' thoughtful gesture.
Parents of Abhishek Cholachagudda, a student of Basaveshwar English Medium School in Bagalkot, who failed in all six subjects in the SSLC exams, celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake. "Abhishek scored 32%, and this number was designed on the cake. As Abhishek cut the cake, we, all family members, fed him and encouraged him to do better next time," he said.
Apart from Abhishek's parents, his sister, grandmother, and other relatives took part in the celebrations.
Responding to this, Abhishek said, "Even though I failed, my family encouraged me. I will retake the exam, pass, and achieve success in life."
