Three persons, including 3-yr-old child, die in road accident in Medak
Hyderabad: Three persons, including a three-year-old boy, died in a road accident after two bikes collided near Narsapur in Medak district on Saturday night. Local police said Mala Gopal, 30, Anudeep, 3, and Sahasra, 12, died on the spot, while four more persons suffered grievous injuries. The injured are recuperating in different govt hospitals.
Gopal, 30, a labourer and resident of Venkatraopeta, his wife Pooja, their children Anudeep and Adaysri, and niece Sahasra, 12, were travelling on a bike. Similarly, K Karunakar of Kowdipally was travelling on another bike along with his wife Varamma, who is eight months pregnant.
At the Chinna Chintakunta curve, they had a head-on collision. All the seven fell off their respective vehicles. At the same time, a lorry coming from the rear ran over Gopal and his family members. Gopal, Anudeep, and Sahasra died on the spot, the Narsapur police said.
Karunakar was travelling from Narsapur to Ibrahimbad. Gopal and his family were travelling to Narsapur to meet their relatives. Karunakar was also on his way to his relative's house, but en route, the accident took place. Sahasra was spending time at her uncle Gopal's house due to the summer vacation. The injured were undergoing treatment at different govt hospitals.
