JEE Main: 35 in top 100 from coaching institutes in Kota
Jaipur: With a stellar performance in JEE Main 2025, Kota's coaching institutes have once again cemented their reputation as the best place to prepare for engineering entrance exams. Of the top 100 All India Ranks (AIRs) declared by National Testing Agency (NTA) Friday, 35 were secured by students at Kota-based coaching institutes.
Seven of the 24 students who achieved a perfect 100 percentile in JEE Main 2025 appeared from Rajasthan—six of whom trained at Allen Career Institute in Kota. Among them is All India Rank (AIR) 1 Om Prakash Bahera, a native of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The other 100 percentilers from Allen are Saksham Jindal, Arnav Singh, Rajit Gupta, Md Anas, and Lakshya Sharma. The seventh 100-percentile scorer from Rajasthan, Ayush Singhal from Jaipur, prepared at Narayana Coaching Institute in Jaipur.
"My decision to come to Kota from Odisha three years ago was worthwhile. I'm now fully focused on JEE Advanced and hopeful for similar results," he said in a phone interaction from Kota. Arnav Singh, Rajit Gupta and Lakshya Sharma, all three raised in Kota, secured AIR 11, 16 and 22 respectively.

Om Prakash Bahera, Saksham Jindal, Arnav Singh, and Rajit Gupta scored 100 percentile in the JEE Main 2025 Jan session, while Md Anas, Ayush Singhal, and Lakshya Sharma achieved the perfect score in the April session. NTA released the combined list of 100 percentile scorers on Friday.
Allen Career Institute claimed that 31 of its students featured in the top 100 ranks—25 through classroom coaching and 6 via online and distance learning platforms. "Our consistency in results speaks volumes about our academic culture," said Nitin Kukreja, CEO of Allen.
Nitin Vijay, founder and CEO of Motion Education Pvt Ltd based in Kota, said of a total of its 10,532 students, 6,930 qualified for JEE Advanced. This is a remarkable selection ratio of 65.8%, significantly higher than the national average.
"This is a testament to the strength of our academic ecosystem and the trust that students and parents continue to place in Motion," Vijay said.
Vibrant Academy, another Kota-based institute, said 16 students from its institute scored above 99 percentile.
Bansal Classes, one of Kota's legacy institutions, also had reason to celebrate with Archisman Nandy, a student from West Bengal, scoring a perfect 100 percentile.
