She apologized to fellow Hindus and Indians, denouncing the perpetrators as inhuman and not representative of any religion. Actress Hina Khan has taken to social media to express her deep sorrow and outrage over the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, which left the nation in shock. In a powerful three-slide Instagram story, she opened up about the emotional toll the incident has taken on her and shared her thoughts as both an Indian and a Muslim.
Reacting to the brutality of the attack, Hina wrote, “The way this attack was conducted by heartless, inhuman, brainwashed terrorists who claim to be Muslims is beyond appalling. It breaks my heart. As a Muslim, I want to apologise to all my fellow Hindus and fellow Indians.”
Her message continued with a reflection on the pain felt across the country: “It’s not about me or my pain—it’s the pain of everyone who lost their loved ones. It’s the pain every Indian is feeling. I am praying for their strength and peace. I am praying for the souls we lost.”

The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress didn’t hold back in condemning the attack. “We must not mince words. I condemn it, I reject it, and I hate those who did it. Wholeheartedly, absolutely and unconditionally,” she wrote, emphasizing that those responsible have no right to be seen as human, let alone representative of any religion.


Hina concluded her note with a powerful plea for unity: “Those who did this can follow any religion. They are not human beings for me. As embarrassed I am for the act of some Muslim, I pray to me fellow Indian to not alienate all of us. All of us who call India our home and our motherland. If we end up fighting each other, we would be doing what they want us to do, to divide us, to keep us fighting and we must not let that happen as Indians.”
Her message has struck a chord with fans, receiving widespread support for its honesty, compassion, and call for solidarity.

For the unversed, Hina, who has been battling stage three cancer, was recently in Kashmir, her hometown and had shared several moments from her trip. Hina is currently battling stage 3 of breast cancer with courage. She had written, "From a little fishing excursion in the Dal to Pranayam sessions in the middle of the Dal, pleasant walks and coffee by the Jhelum, road trips , Gorgeous sunsets, traditional markets, samovar chai te Kashmiri Thani tchot (best breakfast ever BTW) masjid ki Azaan, family functions ,Nadru love, plucking home grown produce.. ALL THINGS KASHMIRI..."
