Mumbai megablock alert: Central railway services hit on Main, Harbour lines today

Central Railway's Mumbai Division has scheduled a megablock on its suburban Main and Harbour lines today to perform engineering and maintenance tasks. On the Main line, services between Thane and Matunga will be rerouted and delayed by 15 minutes. On the Harbour line, services between Kurla and Vashi will be blocked, with special services running during this period.

MUMBAI: Central Railway, Mumbai Division, will operate a megablock on its suburban sections to carry out various engineering and maintenance works today.
On the Main line, the block is on the Matunga-Mulund fast lines from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm. The Up fast line services leaving Thane from 11.25 am to 3.27 pm will be diverted onto the Up slow line at Mulund station, halting as per their respective halts between Mulund and Matunga stations.
They will be re-diverted onto the Up fast line at Matunga station and will arrive at their destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
On the Harbour line, the block is between Kurla and Vashi from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm.
Special services will run between CSMT-Kurla and Kurla-Panvel/Vashi during the block period. Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations until 6 pm.
