Boy drowns in Khagaria pond

Khagaria: A 10-year-old boy drowned while taking a bath in a pond at Kash Nagar village in Khagaria district on Monday. The body was later fished out by the locals. The deceased was identified as Gopal Kumar, son of Pintu Mukhiya, a native of Mukhiya Tola in Mahi Nathnagar panchayat under Beldaur police station in the district. Kash Nagar police station, SHO, Vicky Ravidas said the body was sent to the sadar hospital for a postmortem.
