JP University releases annual sports calendar

Chhapra: September is going to be the month of sports for JP University, Chhapra, as most of the inter college tournaments are scheduled in this month from Sept 10 to 27 this year. The university has released an annual calendar for organising inter college sports, selecting teams from this university for participation in different zonal and all India inter university sports competitions during the session 2025-26.
Released under the signature of Prof Rajesh Nayak, sports director of the university, the athletics, volleyball, chess, yoga, kho-kho, and kabaddi competitions would be organised on the university premises between Dec 10 and 13 this year. A synthetic track has been developed at the university by the state govt for the athletic events.
On the other hand, some of the students, on the condition of anonymity, complained that the absence of PTIs (physical training instructors) in many of the colleges has harmed the prospects of those students who have skill in different sports.
