Two workers missing after boat capsize

Patna: Two workers went missing after a boat in which they were travelling capsized in the Ganga river near Nasriganj Ghat in Patna district on Sunday. Upon receiving information, local police and administration arrived at the spot to begin the rescue operation. Danapur ASP, Bhanu Pratap Singh, said a sand-laden boat, carrying seven people, was coming to Nasriganj when it sank. "Five people swam to safety while two went missing. The SDRF team arrived and initiated a search for the missing workers, but they could not be found till late evening," he said. The missing workers were identified as Bhola Rai and Raja Sao from Kasimchak panchayat in the diara region.
