PUNE: A decade after entering India’s luxury residential real estate market, the Trump Organization is now venturing into the commercial segment with the launch of Trump World Centre in Pune.
Kalpesh Mehta of Tribeca Developers, Trump's India partner, announced the development of two commercial towers near Pune’s Koregaon Park on Wednesday, in collaboration with Pune-based developer Kundan Spaces.
Trump World Centre Pune will span over 1.6 million sq ft, featuring two glass towers with over 27 floors of office space. One tower will offer for-sale strata offices, while the other will provide larger leasable offices, catering to a range of business needs.
“India is the Trump brand’s largest market outside the US,” said Mehta.
In a statement, Eric Trump, Executive VP of Trump Organization, said: “India has embraced the Trump brand with remarkable enthusiasm. After our successful collaboration on several iconic residential projects, we are proud to launch our first commercial development in India.”
In August 2014, property tycoon-turned-POTUS Donald Trump visited Mumbai to inaugurate Trump Tower, a 75-storeyed uber-luxury residential tower at Worli, developed in partnership with the Lodha Group.
