Shops near police station in H’bag looted

Hazaribag: Thieves broke into four shops on Main Road, a few hundred metres from the sadar police station, in the early hours of Sunday and looted cash worth Rs 2 lakh and other valuables. More than a week ago, a few other shops in the area were targeted by thieves during the Ram Navami processions.
Concerned by the surge in burglary cases, Raj Kumar Jain, the president of Hazaribag Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on Sunday said a delegation will meet SP Arvind Kumar Singh to demand increased police patrolling in the area.
