KALYAN: A stone-pelting incident was reported involving some unknown individuals at a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) shakha located in the Khambalpada area of Dombivli.
Last night, at around 8 pm, while the children were receiving training, some unknown people threw stones at the shakha from nearby bushes. Fortunately, no one was injured in this stone-pelting incident.
In response, the local Tilak Nagar police registered a case against the unknown person and started an investigation. Due to the incident, the police increased security in the area.
This shakha is the Veer Savarkar Shakha of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and it has been operating for the last three months under the guidance of Shakha President Sanju Chaudhary and Teacher Pawan Kumar, where children and other people receive training.
The reason behind the stone pelting is yet to be known.
In light of the incident, the police deployed heavy security to prevent any untoward incidents. This shakha was run in the open ground located in the area.
After the incident, people associated with RSS are demanding strict action from the police administration against the miscreants who pelted stones. The incident was reported in Dombivli, which is considered to be the stronghold of RSS in Thane district.
