Trichy: Full Chain Electronics Materials International India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Taiwan-based Full Chain Materials International Company, has inaugurated its Global Research & Development (R&D) Centre at
Anna University's EDII-ABIRF (Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute – Anna Business Incubation Research Foundation), Trichy.
The centre will focus on compact CO₂ capture technologies and thermal management solutions for semiconductor manufacturing, aligning with the industry's push toward sustainable innovation.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Full Chain Electronics and EDII-ABIRF to formalize the collaboration. The MoU was signed by Dr T Senthilkumar, dean and nodal officer, EDII-ABIRF, in the presence of Ricky Chen, CEO of Full Chain Electronics India; Dr Rajesh Kumar S, director – India operations; and Dr Pradeep N, senior R&D engineer.
"Trichy's talent pool and academic ecosystem make it ideal for deep-tech experimentation," said Chen. "This centre reflects our long-term commitment to sustainability in semiconductors."
Dr Senthilkumar said the initiative positions Trichy as a hub for green technology and offers students and startups a platform to engage in global innovation.
