Two drown in river Godavari in Rajahmundry

RAJAHMUNDRY: Two people drowned in the river Godavari in Rajahmundry Monday night. Meanwhile, eight
survived as the boat they were travelling in overturned.
10 boarded a boat to allegedly to play cards on an island by the name Bridge Lanka in the middle of river. When they
were returning after completion of the gambling, the boat was overturned.
Eight of them survived in the mishap and two drowned in the river. The mishap took place at the eight pillar of the
Havelock Bridge. The drowned persons have been identified as Chavala Annavaram(54) and Gada Raju(23).
