Tosham is a legislative assembly constituency in Haryana. In the 2019 elections, Tosham had 209,063 registered voters, with 146,204 valid votes cast. Indian National Congress candidate Kiran Choudhry won the seat, securing 72,699 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Shashi Ranjan Parmar finished second with 54,640 votes, losing by a margin of 18,059 votes.
In 2014, the constituency had 185,970 electors, with 151,278 valid votes cast. Kiran Choudhry from the Indian National Congress also won that year, obtaining 58,218 votes. Indian National Lok Dal candidate Kamla Rani stood second, receiving 38,477 votes, and lost by 19,741 votes.
The Election Commission of India has announced that voting for Haryana's 90-member legislative assembly will be held on October 5, with the last date for filing nominations set for September 12. Vote counting is scheduled for October 8.
