Anindya Banerjee on SC verdict: The CBI investigation is a welcome move

Anindya Banerjee, who had played Prafulla Roy in Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ starring Sushant Singh Rajput, had gone into his shell when he heard the news of Sushant’s tragic death and now the popular Bengali actor thinks justice will prevail while sharing with us how memorable it will always be working with Sushant.
“I hope all the mysteries and questions surrounding his death now get answered.The CBI investigation is a welcome move. Working with Sushant will always be a memorable experience. He was a superbly energetic actor and human being. We had a great bonding in such a short time while shooting for Detective Byomkesh Bakshi’. On the sets, we keep discussing our characters and he was always interested about my acting skills. Sushant had once asked me: ‘How you Bengalis express emotions?’ I still remember, when we were shooting for the film, Sushant often asked whether the Bengali audience would accept him as their own Byomkesh. I wish I could convince him that time he will be in the audience hearts forever,” said the actor during an exclusive chat with ETimes.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday gave the verdice for a CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's mysterious death case. A judgement which was waiting for long by the late actor's fans and family and it finally came with a wave of major relief and social media has been abuzz with reactions from all walks of life since morning.
