What made Churni Ganguly think of a movie like ‘Tarikh’?

Churni Ganguly, who received accolades for her direction and performance in National Award winning film Nirbashito in 2014, is all set for her second directorial ‘Tarikh’ which hits the theatres today, April 12.
When we asked what made Churni think about such a relatable subject, the actor-filmmaker gave a peek into the storyline. “See, I don’t use social media that much.But whenever I do or whatever I get to hear from friends or close ones, led to the development of this film’s plot. It speaks about how connected social media has become with our

lives, and how it eventually breaks us or makes us dream or think in so many different ways and also nurture ideologies. It’s really interesting and narrates the tale of our times,” said Churni Ganguly.
