Ariana Grande impresses audiences with Celine Dion impression and hilarious UFC theme song on SNL

Ariana Grande was the main host of Saturday Night Live, further proving her incredible talent and humor to her fans by making an impressive impression of the veteran singer Celine Dion and a dedicated UFC theme song.

The legendary ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer was vividly recreated in a hilarious sketch. Teasing the emotional connection to several sports, Ariana Grande cracked up doing an impression of Celine Dion, quipping, “Football, it is a sport that connects who we are to who we were. That is why last week, I, Celine Dion, made a promo for Sunday Night Football, OK? But football isn’t the only sport that connects us to our past.” While imitating Celine, the young talent said, “There is another sport whose timeless emotion ignites the bittersweet memories that live inside my soul and the octagon.”

However, it was her UFC-themed song that stole the night. The lyrics of the song gave the sport a rough and rugged take on the brutalities fighters have to endure. Some of the lines such as "There was breaking of bones and there were knees to the balls" playfully parodied the physicality of UFC matches. She vividly painted a picture of the fighters, singing about “a woman in a sports bra with the tightest French braids” and “an angry man with a cauliflower ear and a sideways nose.”.
The performance cheekily poked fun at UFC commentators, even naming Joe Rogan within the lyrics, which called out UFC commentators as "all bald and in the shiniest of shirts." As pictures of intense fights flashed on the screen, Ariana Grande crooned, "That is the beauty of the UFC. The tension, the skill.”
