Actor
Johnny Depp had been accused of violent behaviour by his ex-wife,
Amber Heard, just last year, but he challenged her accusations and the court ruled in his favour.
This development just adds to the speculations of Johnny Depp being difficult to work with. Reportedly, Depp got into several arguments with film director,
Maiwenn, on the sets of the French film, Jeanne Du Barry, in which he plays the role of King Louis XV.
Almost always, the arguments revolved around timing issues.
French showbiz commentator, Bernard Montield said that Johnny Depp is an excellent actor when he comes on the sets, but, “Sometimes the team is ready at 6 AM and no one comes. So afterwards, Maiwenn gets angry and the next day, it is she who does not come and there… is Johnny Depp.”
Bernard revealed this madness in a talk show when he said of the shooting: “It’s going very very badly. They argue constantly.” Fortunately, for the filming crew who were caught between their arguments, shooting is over and the film, Jeanne Du Barry, Johnny Depp’s first after he won his defamation suit, is currently in the post-production stage.
Johnny Depp is playing King Louis XV in the film. Director Maiwenn also stars in the project as Jeanne Du Barry. The film is due for a 2023 release.
