The 50-year-old actor has ignited speculation that he may have finally popped the question to his 26-year-old model girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti. Whispers of a hush-hush engagement began to spread after gossip site DeuxMoi revealed that they received an email suggesting that the Oscar-winning actor might just be ready to settle down.

The actor, who built up quite the reputation for his bachelor lifestyle and dating supermodels under 25, had many running a search to check Ceretti's age on hearing the surprising news.


Ceretti, who turned 26 earlier this year, is being hailed by netizens saying, "she broke the curse" as she already defied the so-called "25-and-under" rule.

The news of Leo and Vittoria's rumoured engagement comes just over a year after the two began dating in 2023. Their relationship has reportedly flourished since with the two seen meeting up with each other's families.

Speculation of an engagement first began doing the rounds early this summer when Ceretti was seen wearing a heart-shaped diamond ring. However, at the time, sources told TMZ that the sparkly piece of jewellery was not from Leo, but something she had long before she started dating him in 2022.
DiCaprio, who celebrated his 50th birthday on November 11, has long been one of Hollywood’s most suitable bachelors, famously linked to a string of supermodels, actresses and other high-profile celebs. However, he has never been engaged before.

The speculations around the rumoured engagement are still unconfirmed. The couple was most recently spotted holidaying at a Fiji resort. However, Leo came under fire for allegedly ignoring the hotel staff's traditional welcome by seemingly pretending to talk on his phone. Many slammed the actor for being 'disrespectful', while others hit out at the hotel for drawing focus on the actor, who seemed uncomfortable with the attention.
