Lady Gaga, the ‘Bloody Mary’ singer, is on her sensationally magical tour around the world, and the Mexicans turned out to be the lucky ones! The gothic queen read out a letter in Spanish during the concert ‘¡Viva La MAYHEM!’ - she held it after 13 years, and she debuted a ‘love song.’
The letter to Mexico
According to Billboard, Gaga read the letter from a balcony while the Mexican flag unfurled in front of her. The letter read, “To all my beautiful little monsters who are here tonight, it is an honour for me to be here, in your beautiful country, performing for you. It’s been 13 years since the last time I was here. I hope you see how hard I’ve worked on stage tonight to show you how much I admire and respect you. I sincerely thank you for choosing to spend the night with me.”
Additionally, she stated that Mexico will always hold a special place in her heart as she ended her first stadium tour, ‘The Monster Ball,’ there. Being one of the important shows of her career, the 39-year-old singer thanked them for sharing the excitement and passion with her on that night. “I’m proud to share this moment with you again, only this time, it’s not the end but the beginning,” she assured.
A song dedicated to her fiancé
Debuting the love song, the ‘Bad Romance’ singer mentioned that she wrote the song for the person she loves the most. Gaga debuted the ‘Blade of Grass,’ a track written for her fiancé, Michael Polansky. “It’s on my new album, and I’ve never performed it before, but I really wanted to perform it here tonight. I just wanted to remind everyone, just for my life, that love can make us so happy. Always follow love, and it will make you happy,” she adorably expressed.
