Jyoti Ranjan Nayak feels that the lockdown has taught him many life lessons and he has learnt several new skills during this period.
“I had never entered our kitchen earlier and did not know anything about cooking. Thanks to the lockdown, now I am learning cooking. This period has taught me how important it is to learn several essential life skills. I’m lucky that I'm staying with my family.
But I still feel the importance of all these skills,” said the Ole Ole Dil Bole actor.
He remembered that during his engineering days, he used to help his roommates in doing the dishes. “I didn’t know cooking, and was not interested in cutting vegetables. So, I used to wash the utensils then, and am doing the same now at home. I also make it sure that I serve the food to my family members at the dining table,” he said with a smile.
Besides learning new activities, he feels that the lockdown has made his daily schedule erratic. “There is no proper sleeping hours. Sometimes to beat the boredom, I keep playing video games. But what’s more important is that I am getting to spend time with my family and I'm loving that,” he added.
