They were funfilled two days for the students of a private management institute in the city when they celebrated ‘Kosmos’, their annual festival recently. With several colleges participating in the event, the atmosphere on campus was of fun and camaraderie. Several competitions were organized to hone the student’s managerial skills and some entertaining contests.
Shows like rangoli designing, group dance competitions, fashion show and a rock night by Euphoria on the second day made the fest even more interesting for the students.
The fashion show ‘Panache’ had students from different colleges walking on the ramp in stylish and chic ensembles categorized into four themes – Ethnic, Devil, Moksha and Page 3. Wearing clothes in keeping with their respective themes, the students who walked the ramp were greeted by loud cheers and applause.
But it was the performance by the group Euphoria on the last day of the fest that the students waited for most. Although the show started nearly an hour late, there was no letting up on the student’s enthusiasm. The band’s lead singer
Palash Sen kicked off the show with the song “Rok Sako Toh Rok Lo” leaving the youngsters craving for more. Then followed the songs on the wish list of the crowd like “Dhoom Pichak Dhoom” and “Mai Re”. Palash entertained the crowd with not just his songs but with also his anecdotes. Urging the crowd to get closer to the stage, he caused a near riot at the venue which was managed by the security with difficulty.
