A musical evening

A musical evening awaited all those who made their way to ITC Hotel, The Grand Central in Parel recently. Even though ghazal maestro Pankaj Udhas and his lovely wife Farida played hosts for the evening, it was their daughters Nayab and Reva who were constantly seen greeting and looking after the guests.
And guests there were aplenty! Ustad Amjad Ali Khan was seen along with wife Subhalakshmi, even as Siddharth Kak made his way to the Ustad and gave him a tight hug. Penaz Masani, looking pretty in a blue salwar kameez, was affable as ever.
Lending encouragement to younger brother Pankaj was Manhar Udhas. Musical notes filled the air as Pankaj took to the mike and rendered some beautiful ghazals. Talat Aziz and wife Bina sat on the front row, while Anup Jalota and his wife Medha were also seen enjoying the show.
