Urmila Matondkar,
Manoj Bajpayee, and
Isha Koppikar starrer 'Pinjar' completed 18 years today. Helmed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the 2003 film was based on poet and novelist Amrita Pritam's 1950 Punjabi novel of the same name.
To commemorate this special day, actress Urmila Matondkar took to Instagram handle and wrote, "18 years of playing Puro in Amrita Pritam's timeless classic 'Pinjar'. Can't help but wonder even though things look apparently changed, if the situation of women has actually changed for any better or do they still struggle through the mindset of a rigid society.
