Shalini shared that she would love to act alongside Ranbir Kapoor just to experience the magic he brings on screen.

Compared to Alia Bhatt, But Prefers Her Own Identity
Interestingly, she also has another connection to him—many fans often compare her to his wife, Alia Bhatt. Talking about the same, she revealed that it is a topic that has followed her since the beginning of her career. While she admires Alia’s work and talent, Shalini firmly stated that she doesn’t want to be seen as a copy. She believes there’s no need for “another Alia” in the industry and wants to be recognised for who she truly is—her own personality, acting style, and individuality. Shalini expressed that such comparisons, though flattering to some extent, can overshadow an artist’s identity and growth.
