Ashish is the villain

He is bad. And he is good at bad. That’s Ashish Vidyarthi for you. Little wonder then that the actor has been roped in by Prabhash and Arijit for their film “Shooter”, which also has Joy, Sayantika, a new girl Dipannita Biswas and others in the cast.
Says Arijit, “Ashish plays Abani Halder, the main villain, in the film. It’s Abani, who’s behind the murder of Deba’s (played by Joy) parents.Abani plots to kill the villagers by poisoning the village pond. Deba’s father stumbles upon this plan and, hence, Abani, who was the labour minister then, decides that it is in his best
interest to kill him. Much later, Abani moves up to the position of the home minister.”
CT caught up with the actor while he was canning the shots for the film. “There is a bar sequence. Deba finds out that Abani is at a bar and follows him there. In yet another scene, Abani is plotting with the CM to catch Deba. He is keen to have this guy out of his life and wants some able police officer to do the job,” Arijit fills in.
