Vicky Kaushal recently delivered his path-breaking performance with ‘Chhaava.’ Based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha empire, the movie crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in its opening week according to the Sacnilk report. It has become the biggest opening of 2025 so far and the biggest opener of Vicky Kaushal’s career.
Though the date hasn’t been locked, according to an OTTPlay report, ‘Chhaava’ will be available for online streaming on Netflix. Nevertheless, before ‘Chhaava’ makes it to the streaming platform, here are other Vicky Kaushal’s movies that you must watch on OTT!

‘Sam Bahadur’

The biographical war iconic movie released in 2023 is based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw (3 April 1914 – 27 June 2008). He was the first Indian to be promoted to the rank of field marshal. He began his services in World War II. This film was directed by Meghna Gulzar, who also co-wrote with Bhavani Iyer and Shantanu Srivastava. In addition to Vicky Kaushal in the title role, the movie has Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. It is available for streaming on ZEE5.

‘Sardar Udham’

The biographical film is based on the life of Udham Singh (26 December 1899 – 31 July 1940). He was an Indian revolutionary who assassinated Michael O’Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, in 1940 as an act of revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar in 1919. This film was directed by Shoojit Sircar, starring Vicky Kaushal in the title role, along with Shaun Scott, Stephen Hogan, Amol Parashar, Banita Sandhu, and Kirsty Averton in supporting roles. It is available on Amazon Prime Video.

‘Manmarziyaan’

This story captured the blend of modern complexities in relationships, a different take on love and romance. It was released in 2018, directed by Anurag Kashyap, and written by Kanika Dhillon. This film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. You can watch it on ZEE5, and Amazon Prime Video.

‘Masaan’

The struggle of a young man from a lower caste family who falls in love with a girl. This film is Vicky Kaushal's debut Hindi film, and also the directorial debut of Neeraj Ghaywan. This film was released in 2015 and since then it has gone on to achieve Cult status. ‘Masaan’ was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and won two awards, it also screened [at the inaugural New York Dalit Film and Cultural Festival in 2019. It is available on JioHotstar and Amazon Prime Video.

‘URI: The Surgical Strike’

This is a national award-winning film, which stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina, and Paresh Rawal. This film was written and directed by debutant Aditya Dhar. It was released on 11 January 2019. This film was about Indian army special forces executing a covert operation, to take revenge for the killing of fellow soldiers at their base by a terrorist group. It is available on Zee5.
