Director Farhad Samji reacts to ‘Naiyyo Lagda’ memes from Salman Khan starrer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’

Around Valentine’s day last month, a romantic track from Salman Khan starrer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ was unveiled. It features Salman along with Pooja Hegde, but ever since then, memes on the hook step of the song have started floating on the internet.
Director Farhad Samji has now reacted to these memes. During an Instagram live session the director said that while ‘Naiyyo Lagda’ is a negative word, it has proved to be positive for the team.He further added, that when something sparks memes or is a part of reels, that’s when you figure out the reach it has had. So, the team can feel how the song has reached out to people. Now there are more songs which are going to be out, hence the director is keeping his fingers crossed
People have also loved Salman and Pooja’s chemistry in the song. ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is set to release on Eid this year and the film also stars Venkatesh, Shenaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari among others.
Meanwhile, director Farhad Samji’s new project ‘Pop Kaun’ has released on OTT. It features the late Satish Kaushik, Kunal Kemmu, Rajpal Yadav, Saurabh Shukla, Johnny Lever, Chunky Panday, Nupur Sanon, Jamie LEver along others. The director has also been in news because he has reportedly replaced Anees Bazmee on ‘Hera Pheri 4’.
